Our name and guiding philosophy come from an Iroquois proverb: “In our every deliberation, we must consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations”. Our laundry detergents are powered by plant-based ingredients and are USDA Certified Biobased Products—97% in the case of our liquid formulas. They are formulated without dyes, synthetic fragrances, or optical brighteners, using only 100% essential oils and botanical ingredients for naturally delightful scents. For those with sensitive skin, our Free & Clear line offers hypoallergenic, dermatologist-tested formulas with 0% fragrances, dyes, or artificial brighteners. Our dish liquids cut through grease and tough, dried-on food while remaining gentle on sensitive skin, with 95% renewable ingredients and EPA Safer Choice certification. We have also pioneered EasyDose™ technology, reinventing the liquid laundry bottle to use 60% less plastic and 50% less water without sacrificing performance.

In baby care, we set new industry standards early on by offering the first unbleached, 100% recycled paper products. Today, our diapers feature a 0% chlorine-free bleaching process and an ultra-absorbent core made from FSC® Certified sustainably sourced fluff. Our baby wipes contain no alcohol, synthetic cleaners, dyes, or fragrances, and are whitened without chlorine.

Our Zero Plastic line represents our boldest step toward a waste-free future. Packaged in reusable steel canisters—the world's most recycled and recyclable material—our water-activated, fully biodegradable powders and tablets deliver a fundamental clean without dyes, bleach, or plastic of any kind. We are committed to eliminating chronic toxins from all our products by 2025, sourcing plant-based ingredients that strengthen renewable supply chains, and creating packaging that is widely recyclable.

We are also committed to transparency. We were one of the first homecare companies to print all ingredients in plain language on every product label, because we believe consumers have the right to know what makes our products safe.
